Summit Athletics

To tryout for a Summit Athletic Program a Summit student or homeschool student must:
  1. Submit a completed VHSL examination form to the coach or athletic director in person, via office drop off or email.
  2. Have a cumulative 2.00 GPA with no grade of “F” on the most recent report card. 
To be an officially registered member of a Summit Athletics sports team, an athlete must:
  1. Pay Sports Fee
    1. $120 - Varsity & JV Teams
    2. $100 - JJV Teams
    3. $240 - Varsity & JV Teams (homeschooler*)
    4. $200 - JJV Teams (homeschooler*)
  2. Complete the online registration process (link is sent to team members only after tryouts are completed).
* Homeschoolers must also submit a $100 uniform deposit check. It is cashed if the uniform is not returned per the Late Uniform Agreement. 

​- Summit allows homeschooled athletes to try out and participate on all teams -
- JJV level teams participate in the Peninsula Independent Athletic League -
- JV & Varsity level teams compete as independent teams -

*Tryouts will be held on July 23, July 25th & July 26th*

Volleyball @ Upper School
JJV 3:30pm - 5pm
JV 5pm - 7pm
V 7pm - 9pm
*On July 26th, tryouts will be held as follows:
JJV 2:30pm - 4pm
JV 4pm - 6pm
V 6pm - 8pm

Cross Country @ Upper School
7:15am - 8:45am

Soccer JJV @ 69 Saunders Road 
3:30pm - 5pm
*On July 26th, tryouts will be held from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

3:30pm - 5:30pm
*On July 26th, tryouts will be held from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Fall Sports

Volleyball - girls 5th-12th grade
Soccer - boys 6th-12th grade
Cross Country - co-ed 5th-12th grade

Winter Sports

Basketball - boys 5th-12th grade
Basketball - girls 5th-12th grade

Spring Sports

Soccer - girls 6th-12th grade
Golf - co-ed 6th-12th grade
Tennis - co-ed 6th-12th grade
